Physical and Psychological Effects: antidepressant. Another oil which has a loyal following. Those attracted to ylang ylang, fall in love with its allure. Ylang ylang reduces stress and anxiety. Associated with sensuality and often referred to as an aphrodisiac. Most lovers of ylang ylang would say that ylang ylang instills a quiet sense of confidence in them.

Blends Well With: lemon, mandarin, palmarosa, eucalyptus, clove, orange, ginger, sandalwood, jasmine, neroli, bergamot, Roman chamomile, clarysage, patchouli, rose, petitgrain, vetiver, grapefruit, cardamom, cedarwood, tea tree, bergamot, lavender

Fragrance: base to middle note. Intensely floral, exotic. Powerful. Strong. Not subtle. Lingers on the skin.

Cautions: occasionally people report headaches because of the strong floral aroma. Avoid on sensitive skin
