Bergamot: Citrus bergamia |

Botanical Source: peel of fruit
Physical and Psychological Effects: this oil is well known for its uplifting effect on the mind. Useful for anxiety or when you are feeling depressed. Very cheerful.
Blends Well With: black pepper, coriander, Romanchamomile, clarysage, cypress, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, juniper, lavender mandarin, orange, rosemary, Australian sandalwood
Fragrance: top to middle note. Cross between a sweet, fruity tone to warm and spicy floral.
Cautions: may irritate skin. Not to be applied onto skin before exposure to the sun. Bergamot contains Bergaptene, which is known to be photosensitive - increases the effect of sunlight. Avoid direct exposure to the sun or tanning booths for 12 hours after application.
